The Story of Fortune & Favor

I founded Fortune & Favor to bridge the gap between  purpose and mission, and financial freedom. My mission is to provide the clarity and precision that your business deserves, ensuring that every decision is supported by accurate records and soul-centered wisdom. I am dedicated to helping you navigate the complexities of accounting with grace and professional excellence.

The Expert Behind the Numbers

I bring a soul-centered approach to financial clarity, ensuring your business thrives with precision and peace of mind.

Tara Redner

Founder & Principal Accountant

Tara is someone who understands your business model, respects your values, and knows how to build bookkeeping that holds your books instead of distratcing from it. With a Master's degree in Accounting, over 20 years of experience and being a QBO Certified ProAdvisor, Tara has the skill and ambition to take your books from only capturing numbers to working strategically for you and your business.

My Approach:

I believe bookkeeping should:

  • Reduce stress, not create it

  • Offer clarity instead of judgment

  • Support grounded decision‑making

  • Run quietly and reliably in the background

I structure books around how you earn, not how software defaults are designed. Income is tracked by offer type, expenses are grouped intentionally, and reports are built to support real business decisions — not just tax compliance.

What Working With Me Feels Like:

Clients describe working with me as:

  • Calm and organized

  • Clear and professional

  • Supportive but boundaried

  • Consistent and steady

I don’t overwhelm you with financial jargon. My role is to maintain clean, accurate, decision‑ready books so your finances feel stable and dependable — even when your business is growing or evolving.

Who I Work Best With:

I work best with clients who:

  • Run wellness and wellness coaching businesses

  • Value clarity, professionalism, and consistency

  • Want their books handled — not micromanaged

  • Understand the importance of systems and boundaries

If you’re looking for bargain bookkeeping, hourly data entry, or someone to “just throw things into QuickBooks,” I’m not the right fit — and that’s okay.

If you want structure that supports your work without draining your energy, we may be a great match.

You don’t need to be “good with numbers” to have strong financial systems.

You just need someone who understands your business model, respects your values, and knows how to build bookkeeping that holds your work instead of distracting from it.

That’s what I do.
